Original Poems II

Ladder Poem
Snowy night
Snow
Falling softly
Among my nose
Making me feel chills
Along my bare face
Making me smile
With teeth
Chattering

TERZANELLE
How I relax
Looking out from my bedroom window on my old chair I am curled
I stare into the darkness
Wondering if I'm the only one who wonders about the world

I sit at my window and watch as snow piles begin to gather at my address
And make the green grass turn to while mounds of magic
I stare into the darkness

I listen to the peaceful silence while its still snowing
I let my eyes close and just listen
I listen to the sound of snow falling, of light winds blowing

I can hear the sounds of the little critters eaten
I can hear my dog snoring in my living room
I close my eyes and just listen

When I breath I inhale the cool air as if I am a vacuum
I let myself taste the coldness and pureness of the air
I can hear my dog snore in the living room

I am numb with relaxation every ware
I stare into the darkness
I let myself taste the coldness and pureness of the air
Wondering if I'm the only one who wonders about the world

Free Verse
Listen
Walking down the halls
Down the street
Up the stairs to my room
With knowing exactly what I want to say
and
When I want to say it
I want to share it but I fear
That it will never be forgotten
I want to tell someone
everything
all that I worry about
the stuff that I worry about the no one else
does
I don't want to be told that everything will be okay
I don't want to be told anything
I just want some one to simply
Listen
