The book that changed my life

The book that changed my life was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. This is possibly one of the first books that I learned to read. I still remember sitting at my grandmothers house and reaching up on top of the old dusty book shelf to get to this book. My brother and I would sit and read it together. This book taught me how much fun reading can be. This book taught me to love reading. Also one of the more important thing that this book taught me was the magic of rhyming. Rhyming has a certain effect on me. It draws me and and really gets wedged in my brain and put in my memory. If I had to, I could recite most of that Green Eggs and Ham book. I learned what words rhyme and how it sounds when you read the rhymes out loud. It just rolls off the tongue so easily, much easier then reading a text book about World War I. This book taught me so much and by teaching me, it changed my life in a huge way.
