Lucky Blog

I take after my dad with shoes. He wares his sneakers until they are falling apart. Then he will still hold on to them and out them in the back of his closet. He has more then one or two pairs of old worn out shoes in his closet. When my mom tells him to throw them out he looks said and says "but what if I need them again? I can't get rid of them they are my shoes," and I see ware he's coming from. I have a pair of converse that are really falling apart. The soles are falling off, the laces are about to break in the middle, and the seams are coming undone. Even though they are in such bad shape I still have them in my closet because well "what if I need to ware them again?" They have been with me sense the middle school. They traveled the middle school and high school halls with me. They went on bike rides and walks with me. They make people take a double glance at them because they have right and left written on them (done by my friend at religion class), yes they have personality. How could you throw out something that has been experiencing almost everything with you for three tears? I admit, even though they are in really bad shape, and probably considered a fashion disaster, I still ware them at times. I still ware them to school or on walks. They are a one of a kind pair of shoes, and one of my little lucky charms.
