27. Do you feel safer because of the military?

I do feel safer with the military. It is comforting to know that there is people to protect you if something happens. The military prevents foreign countries from harming Americans and our interests. I know that there is people out there that do want to harm American citizens, but I also know that there is many people in the military that is fighting to keep us all safe. This is so important because not only does it physically keep us safe it also keeps us safe mentally. Could you imagine needing to be laying in bed at night wondering if you will get attacked tonight? The military helps everyone have a peaceful state of mind. We should thank and appreciate the people in the military a lot more often then they do.Everyone should thank the people in the military today especially.
